domiciliary care

Domiciliary Care Domiciliary care services may include routine household tasks inside or outside of the house, personal care and other domestic services to maintain level of health, hygine, dingnity and safety.

Domiciliary care is defined as range of services put in place to support an individual in their own time. Different to live-in care, where you receive ongoing support, Domiciliar care for those who prefer support at set regular times each week. This could be as little as a weekly housekeeping visit through to several visits a day to help with personal care, getting around the home or preparing meals. It even covers overnight support if you need support for trips to toilet in the night.

We provide Domiciliary care for the clients in their own homes regularly on their set hours of the day or night. Those who wish to stay within their own homes may be very interested in the idea of regular visits from a qualified carer. It may be that they need a little extra support after having an operation or have a long-term condition such as dementia, Parkinson’s etc. Domiciliary care, in short, is for anyone who wants to remain independent within the comfort of their own home rather than move into residential care, but may need some extra help in order for that to happen.

Diference between Domiciliary Service and Care Home What is the maind difference between Domiciliary care and Live-in care

Defined as a range of services which are put in place to ensure that an individual can stay at home, domiciliary carers offer support in a variety of areas but always focuses on helping the person they’re supporting to follow the lifestyle and routines that they have become familiar with.

Both options offer fully qualified carer who are focused on delivering the best possible service. However, moving into care home can be very disruptive to someone who is used to their own environment. They can also find it hard with limited visiting hours from friends and family to the care home compared to the freedom they enjoy being with their loved ones anytime at their own home. Ultimately, domiciliary care endeavours to provide one-to-one support without leaving the comfort and peace available at home with unlimited visits from family and friends.
